Welcome to our site...

The Endless Mountains Dog Obedience Club (EMDOC) was formed in January of 2004 by a small group of concerned dog owners who were interested in promoting and educating the public in Responsible Dog Ownership through continuing education, obedience classes, demonstrations and other community endeavors. The club’s mission statement, “Leading Dogs To Be Better Companions,” reflects this intent.

Members volunteer the services of their certified Therapy dogs by visiting Nursing Homes, Schools and Library Reading Programs and offer their time to help support the local Humane Shelter. Many members are pursuing more advanced titles through AKC, CKC, UKC, NADAC and other competitive organizations. Attending seminars and other training programs encourages continuing education among the members. A yearly Fun Match is held at the Riverside Park in Towanda.

Obedience Classes for the public and members are offered throughout the year. Please call for further information.

Administrative meetings are held on the second Monday of each month at the First Presbyterian Church, 5 Court Street, Towanda at 7:00PM. For more information on EMDOC please call the club secretary at (570) 265-2337.
